Competed in worlds 2019 when we took a team of more than 40 athletes, then the Universe in Sapri when it was held indoors in 2020. Returned 2022 when it was on the  beach front, what an experience stood overlooking the sea and managed a second place, won by Belgian Michel Decolle one of the best physiques I've seen.

I Went to the Worlds in Turin in 2019 after winning West Midland and Great Britain. Huge team went over, great atmosphere, nice hotels, great comradery. We absolutely annihilated the show with basically someone winning or a placing top 3 in every category. Incredible to watch and to have participated in and is up there with 1 of the most memorable experiences of my life. It's not everyday you get to represent Great Britain let alone win the Worlds. IBFA for me will always be number 1 and have a special place in my heart, they truly are a federation who care for the competitors and spectators above and beyond. The whole experience is amazing I even enjoyed the long train journey lol atmosphere, venue can't be beaten. On an xl plus side you can tell the wife your taking her away for a long weekend happy wife happy life. I have been lucky enough to compete there twice fingers crossed I'll be there 2026 over 60

I did the Universe and the Europe at Sapri in 2022 and 2024 the best experiences of my life.  I've been to many countries for holidays but this little hidden gem in Italy just as something I can't explain the atmosphere competing on the beach outside in the sun the authentic look the food is unbelievable and very reasonable prices.. I would do this show every year if I could keep in condition each year ..

If I had a choice to pick between Sapri or Mr Olympia I would pick Sapri although I wouldn't make Olympia  Ibfa is the ultimate federation there wont be anywhere that can match this experience.. great memories that will last a lifetime.

Competed in Sapri, beautiful resort. Competed then later judged in Rome. Treated really well and well organised. Would urge anyone to compete abroad. Did nearly 100 shows abroad, great experiences.
